I'm a senior software engineer who likes the hard, unglamorous parts: the data model that won't paint you into a corner, the boundary between services that nobody has to think about, the deploy that just works at 2am.
I move comfortably across the stack, from API and infrastructure design down to the database, and up through the interfaces people actually touch. I care about clarity over cleverness, and about leaving systems better-understood than I found them.
Lately my focus is generative AI: building with large language models, designing agentic systems, and weaving code generation into the way software gets made.
I work independently as Raven Studio, partnering with teams who need senior judgement on something that matters.
